While listening to Bishop Mary's Pastoral Letter today, I found myself wondering about educating ourselves about the people of Western Tanganyika. Are there particular writers we should read, music we can listen to? Simple thoughts like maps, historical timelines etc would, I would think, help us engage at a parish level. Maybe a Lenten program? Could enhancing our understanding be a part of the Rule of Life being developed?
